Light Graffiti

These are a range of images taken for my final major project. By setting the shutter speed to low, I was able to capture movement with the aid of L.E.D lights. The meaning of this project was to promote a new and innovative methods of producing legal graffiti.

Light graffiti can only be captured by a camera and viewed in photographs. It is a similar effect to when you move a sparkler, your eyes follow the trail of light and words or images can be created simply by moving a light source.

The first 5 images were used in my actuall final piece. I attatched L.E.D bulbs on a figure and captured the motion lines left from the light as they walked, ran, jumped, span around and rode a bicycle.
